Terms & Conditions
The following Terms & Conditions form part of the agreement to attend and/or exhibit at the Meet the Buyer and Supplier Forum 2021.
The host organisation, event manager, venue and associated staff do not accept responsibility for any errors, omissions or changes.

Host organisation – Transport Portfolio
Delegates – People who have registered to attend the Forum
Exhibitor – Organisations who have applied to book or have booked an exhibition space
Event manager – Known Associates
Venue – RAC Arena
ALL REGISTERED DELEGATES
Conduct
Delegates shall conduct all Forum participation in a professional manner so as not to be objectionable to the host organisation, event manager, venue or other Forum participants.
Force Majeure
The host organisation shall not be responsible for any loss or damage resulting from failure to perform under this agreement or to conduct the event as currently scheduled in whole or part as a result of riot, strike, civil disorder, act of war, failure of facilities, earthquake, storm, fire, flood, or other acts of God, or any reason of any kind what so ever beyond the reasonable control of the host organisation. In such event, the host organisation will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the event.
Privacy
· The host organisation is required to collect contact details of all registered delegates to communicate relevant event information. Your name and contact information, including electronic address and phone number, may be used by the host organisation and event management company for relevant purposes such as promotion, networking and administration of this and future events of this type, and for other communication purposes in accordance with the National Privacy Principles outlined in the Privacy Act 1988. If you do not consent to your contact details being provided to approved stakeholders of the event please contact rsvp@knownassociates.com.au
· In addition, your name, position and organisation may be published on the delegate list which is provided to delegates and exhibitors at the Forum. If you do not wish your details to be included in the delegate list, please contact rsvp@knownassociates.com.au
· A photographer will be in attendance during the Forum, please alert event staff if you do not wish to be photographed or your photo shared.
EXHIBITORS ONLY
You and your colleagues
· All representatives hosting booths should be of appropriate seniority and knowledgeable about their organisation’s capability profile, procurement processes, and contracting opportunities.
Your booth
· As the exhibitor you will:
o Bear responsibility for the equipment hired from the time of its delivery until collection by our exhibition partner PERTHEXPO
o Upon arrival, examine the equipment to satisfy itself of the equipment’s condition, suitability and fitness for the purpose for which the exhibitor requires the equipment. In accepting the equipment, the exhibitor acknowledges that it has duly examined the equipment and has satisfied itself as required. The exhibitor acknowledges that it has not in any way relied upon the skill or judgement or any representation made by or on behalf of PERTHEXPO or the host organisation in respect of the equipment, its purpose, suitability or performance. Should the exhibitor alter its installation or delivery requirements prior to, during, or after installation or delivery, the exhibitor is liable for all extra costs of PERTHEXPO’s employees and cartage
o Assume the risk of and indemnify and hold PERTHEXPO and the host organisation harmless from and against any and all property damage and personal injury resulting from:
§ the use of the equipment
§ contact with underground cables, pipes, services or other obstructions
§ all necessary surface repairs
o Use the equipment in a proper, safe and prudent manner and only for the purpose and capacity from which it was designed
o Ensure all equipment is ready for collection immediately after the Forum has finished
· No responsibility will be accepted for property left by the exhibitor at the Forum.
Cancellations
· You must notify us in writing if you need to cancel.
· A fee of $450 may be charged if you cancel or do not exhibit on the day.
· If the Forum is cancelled due to government imposed COVID-19 restrictions, the host organisation is not liable for any associated costs incurred by the exhibitor.
